CoQ10

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a lipid-soluble antioxidant located primarily within the mitochondria—the energy-producing structures inside cells. It plays a critical role in the electron transport chain, the biochemical pathway responsible for generating ATP, the body's primary energy currency.
CoQ10 exists in two functional forms:

Ubiquinone – the form involved in cellular energy production

Ubiquinol – the antioxidant form that protects cells from oxidative stress
